Securing Sustainable Water Supply at Lesotho Highlands Water Project

We are proud to have contributed to the Lesotho Highlands Water Project, a key initiative that plays a vital role in securing a reliable and sustainable water supply to South Africa. The project involves the construction of a series of dams and tunnels to transfer water from the highlands of Lesotho to the Gauteng region in South Africa. This massive infrastructure will not only provide water to millions of people but will also ensure a consistent supply to meet the growing demand in South Africa. By capturing and transferring water from the rainy highlands to the drier regions of South Africa, the project will help mitigate the impact of droughts and climate variability, securing long-term water resources for urban and industrial needs.

As part of this monumental project, Fusion Integrated Solutions was entrusted with the task of implementing a robust access control system at the entrances of five tunnels that are currently under construction. Our team installed 10 x Fingerprint / Card Readers onto existing turnstiles and integrated them with advanced access control software. This system was designed to regulate and monitor access to the tunnels, ensuring only authorized personnel enter at all times.
